ABOUT US

Trimay® produces wear-resistant metallic cladding on steel plate and pipe.

Our company focus is on the selection and finished quality of our overlays and inlays, providing innovative solutions to our customers, and continual research toward better, longer-lasting alloy-clad products to prevent abrasion, erosion and corrosion in dry, wet and hot environments.

Simply put, our wear products are considered top-performing, providing solutions to problems where even carburized (quench and tempered) steels fail quickly; and quality, innovation and research are the guiding principles.

Trimay® is a manufacturer of wear overlays that protect industrial equipment and parts from abrasive operating environments. Trimay offers more than half a dozen overlays that range from chromium and complex based alloys, to tungstens, to brand new, heavy-wearing, light-weight formulas. Trimay’s® overlay product line begins where A. R. steels end, and are the top choice for heavy industrial wear areas.

The step after leaving the welding table is key. Each Trimay® wear plate is thoroughly inspected to Trimay’s® quality standards. Each plate’s Rockwell hardness (HRc) is tested and documented, and has

full traceability back to the powder batch and the operator on shift.

APEGA.

Trimay® is registered with APEGA (The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta) as a company permit holder in the province of Alberta.

Commitment to R & D.

R & D is the source of Trimay’s® high quality. Past experimentation found the optimal welding parameters for each type of overlay, for each type of thickness. This translates to a consistent, high-quality

product, every time. Recently Trimay® partnered with a metalurgical engineering firm, Nano Steel, that is on the leading edge of wearresearch. Our new T171 or Nano overlay is the first by-product of this relationship.

Honesty, Transparency, Integrity:

Trimay® representatives assess which overlay you require based on the abrasiveness of your wear environment and the service life you need. If you have mandatory shutdowns every two years, we won’t try and sell you a product that has proven to last 5 years.

Corporate Objective:

To research, develop and manufacture the highest quality Advanced Wear Materials. Trimay® achieves its high quality standard through research and development, partner companies and exclusive suppliers, as well as through experimentation and process optimization.

Conflict Minerals Policy:

Trimay is committed to conducting its business operations in a manner that complies with applicable laws and regulations regarding conflict minerals.
